My Hiatus is Over!!!

I have been away from blogging way too long! Life is just way too busy! I do wish I could stay home and sew, but alas, I must work! So, I am arranging my time at home everyday to include something sewing related. I have many projects started and many I want to start. I have finished quilt tops to qult, quilt tops to finish piecing and paper piecing projects unfinished, etc. (as we all do)

Today is a fresh start! Each day I will share what my sewing related item is. You can also share your's with me! Comment and let me know what you are up to. It does not have to be actual sewing, just sewing related. Looking for patterns, organizing your sewing studio, sorting fabrics, or putting together your projects......

Let's all share! My birthday is March 4th and I will draw a name from the participants and that person gets a sewing related prize!!!!!!!

Let's have some fun!!!!!!!!

Happy Sewing!

Welcome back to the blogging world! I've found I can't post everyday, but I try to post at least once a week. I've been doing WIP Wednesday posts and it gives me a goal to shoot for! I'm making 14 mug rugs for quilt retreat right now. That's A LOT of binding by hand.

Hi Moneik! I may not be able to keep up the post everyday, but am going to make a stab at it!!! I am going to do something everyday, even if it is organizing a few sewing things. I am just ready for something fun. Sounds like you have a lot to do. I really don't know how you get all you do done with a baby no less. Looking forward to seeing a pic of your mug rugs!!!!!

Hi Patti. I only work part time but even then it is hard to find time to sew. Right now I am working on learning to FMQ and organizing my "studio."

I'm committed to completing some UFOs and some QoV quilt blocks. Oh, and I want to learn to tap dance (ok, it's not sewing related, just adding it in lol). VermontPines at aol dot com

welcome back! I am in the middle of a massive paper piecing project (at least it seems massive to me) 5000+ piece king in all cool colors, so excited with the progress though!

Welcome back to blogging. I too have been gone for a year and I keep thinking about if I want to start again. I've been enjoying your posts and your facebook updates.

Welcome back! I put my toe back into the blogging pond as well. I've been primarily working on small projects for gifts, such as table runners and hot pads. Today I've spent some time on crumb blocks. I admit that I spend more time planning and playing with fabrics than I do actually sewing. Whoops!
